Edinburg Cultural Arts Sip & Paint at Edinburg ACE, Sept. 19th

The Edinburg Cultural Arts Department, along with the Edinburg Arts Foundation and the Edinburg Arts District, will host 'Sip & Paint: Craft Pour' workshops on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Edinburg ACE Center, located at 315 W. McIntyre St. The workshops aim to foster creativity and community interaction, offering two sessions from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $25 plus tax, which includes standard painting materials. AACT Now Launches Rally the Vote Campaign During Edinburg Gathering

The Advocacy Alliance Center of Texas NOW, Inc. launched its Rally the Vote campaign during a luncheon in Edinburg, coinciding with National Voter Registration Day. The event gathered community representatives from Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, and Willacy counties. Executive Director Norma Flores Ruiz emphasized the initiative's goal of increasing voter participation from the current 48.5% turnout in 2024 to between 55% and 60%. The campaign will collaborate with local organizations to engage communities and encourage voter registration. Additionally, participants are encouraged to reach out to ten people to promote voting awareness and participation.
